Thomas S. Kidd

Thomas S. Kidd is an American historian born in 1971 who specializes in the history of religion and Evangelicalism. He currently serves as the John and Sharon Yeats Endowed Chair of Baptist Studies at Baylor University and as a Research Professor of Church History at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Kidd is the author of several works, including a biography of the 18th-century preacher George Whitefield.
