Roy Grounds

Sir Roy Burman Grounds was a Melbourne-based architect and a pivotal figure in the development of Modernism in Victoria. His early career featured geometric residential designs, while his later work, including the National Gallery of Victoria and the Victorian Arts Centre, established his reputation as a leader in Australian architecture. From 1953 to 1963, he was a partner in the firm Grounds, Romberg & Boyd.
