Robert Brenner

Robert Brenner is an American economic historian born in 1943. He serves as a professor emeritus of history and director of the Center for Social Theory and Comparative History at UCLA. Additionally, he is an editor for the socialist journal Against the Current and a member of the editorial committee for New Left Review, with research interests spanning early modern European history, Marxism, and agrarian history.
