Pythagoras

Pythagoras of Samos was an ancient Ionian Greek philosopher, polymath, and the founder of Pythagoreanism. Active around 530 BC, he established a school in Croton, Italy, where followers practiced a communal and ascetic lifestyle. His political and religious teachings significantly influenced the development of Western philosophy, impacting the work of thinkers such as Plato and Aristotle.
