Pierre Bourdieu

Pierre Bourdieu (1930–2002) was a French sociologist, anthropologist, philosopher, and public intellectual. Throughout his career, he was primarily associated with the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences in Paris and the Collège de France. His extensive academic work significantly influenced the sociology of education, sociological theory, and the sociology of aesthetics.
