Palladianism

Palladianism is a European architectural style based on the work of the Venetian architect Andrea Palladio, who lived from 1508 to 1580. The style emerged during the 17th and 18th centuries, drawing upon Palladio's interpretations of symmetry, perspective, and the formal principles of ancient Greek and Roman traditions.
