Michael Hinton

John Michael Hinton (1923-2000) was a British philosopher. He served as a lecturer at Victoria University College before joining the University of Oxford in 1958, where he became a fellow of Worcester College in 1960. Additionally, he held the position of Cowling Visiting Professor at Carleton College during the 1978-79 academic year.
