Marilyn Minter
Marilyn Minter is an American visual artist born in 1948. She is recognized for her photorealistic paintings and photographs that explore the intersection of commercial and fine art. Her practice spans painting, photography, printmaking, filmmaking, sculpture, and graphic art. Minter currently serves as a faculty member in the MFA department at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
