Howard Brody

Howard A. Brody (1949–2024) was an American physician and bioethicist. He served as a professor of family medicine and director of the Institute for the Medical Humanities at the University of Texas Medical Branch until his retirement in 2016. His academic career included extensive research in the field of placebo studies.
