Ginny Tapley Takemori

Ginny Tapley Takemori is a British translator of contemporary and early modern Japanese literature based in Ibaraki, Japan. She has translated works by more than a dozen writers, including Sayaka Murata’s Convenience Store Woman. A dedicated advocate for gender parity in publishing, she helped create Women in Translation Month and co-founded the collective Strong Women, Soft Power.
