Douglas Cooper

Douglas Cooper was a British art historian, critic, and collector who specialized in Cubist works. During World War II, he served as an interrogator and investigated the trade of stolen art. Following the war, he established a gallery of early Cubist art within a chateau in Provence, where he also published under the name Douglas Lord.
