Dorothy L. Cheney

Dorothy L. Cheney was an American primatologist and biologist who specialized in the social behavior, communication, and cognition of wild primates. She served as a professor of biology at the University of Pennsylvania. A distinguished researcher in her field, she was also a member of the US National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
