Claude Debussy

Claude Debussy (1862–1918) was a French composer and pianist born in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Regarded as one of the most influential figures of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, he is frequently associated with Impressionism in music, a label he personally rejected. His extensive body of work includes significant contributions to opera, classical music, and music criticism.
