B. N. Goswamy

Brijinder Nath Goswamy (1933–2023) was an Indian art historian, critic, and vice chairman of the Sarabhai Foundation. A scholar of Pahari, Punjabi, and Sikh art, he authored over 20 books, including Masters of Indian Painting 1100-1900. He held a Ph.D. in History from Panjab University and was honored with the Padma Shri in 1998 and the Padma Bhushan in 2008 for his contributions to the study of Indian miniature paintings.
