Albert Szabo

Albert Szabo (1925–2003) was an American architect, artist, and educator who served as a tenured professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts. He co-founded the Department of Visual and Environmental Studies in 1968. Szabo authored several scholarly works on indigenous architecture, including studies focused on Afghanistan, in collaboration with Brenda Dyer Szabo and Thomas Barfield.
