Albert Goldbarth

Albert Goldbarth is an American poet born in 1948. He is the only poet to receive the National Book Critics Circle award twice, honored for his works Heaven and Earth: A Cosmology and Saving Lives. Additionally, he is a recipient of the Mark Twain Award for Humorous Poetry and has held fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation.
