Aino Aalto
Aino Maria Marsio-Aalto was a Finnish architect and a pioneer of Scandinavian design who served as the first artistic director of the company Artek. Over a 25-year collaboration with Alvar Aalto, she created influential work across textiles, lighting, glassware, and architecture. Her designs are held in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and have been featured in major international exhibitions.
